Exhibit Opening at The Ink Shop

Please join me for the opening reception of "Mirage" and exhibit of new work that I've created over the past year.  The work layers monoprints and photo transfers with hand coloring and other techniques.  The reception will be held at The Ink Shop Printmaking Center and Olive Branch Press at 330 East State/MLK Jr. St., 2nd floor of the CSMA Bldg.
Ithaca, NY 14850.  The reception hours are 5-8 pm.  A second reception will be held on July 1st from 5-8 as well.  This is a two month exhibit.  

Mirage features a series of images that combine monoprints and black and white photographic transfers to create dream like worlds that speak to memory and imagination.  The work integrates my fascination with the idea of mirage or optical illusion by combining images of specific places and people of my past with additional layers of monoprinting and other printmaking techniques that activate the emotional context and memory of the physical photograph.
