The Galleries
There are eight gallery "rooms" on this website. Each gallery contains ten images of a series. And, each image is available in a variety of sizes. Purchasing information can be found under the purchase menu. Here is a bit of information about each gallery:

Texture Series Gallery
These images focus on a variety of textures and colors found primarily on old painted adobe surfaces in New Mexico is rich in color and texture. Many of these photographs appeared in a Taos, New Mexico exhibition entitled "Imagine That!" in October, 2006.

Paint Series Gallery
In this group I have paid specific attention to the detail of aging paint on a variety of surfaces found in the southwest. It is a highly abstract series with a focus on color and composition. Many of hese photographs were presented in a special exhibition entitled "Paint" at the Stables Gallery in Taos, New Mexico in July, 2006. |

Southwest Surfaces Gallery
This gallery of photographs gives a feel for the vernacular nature of New Mexico. I find beauty in the happenstance of paints merging and peeling. My eye looks beyond what could be considered decay or chaos to a specific corner of an object or a wall to find the poetry of light, color and design.

Ballroom Series Gallery
I found this building on the main street in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. An old abandoned ballroom with the interior completely caved in. The exterior walls still claimed its purpose and a few advertisements painted on the adobe were starting to fade away. |

Elements Series Gallery
In this series I found compositions that focused on a single element. A hinge, a window, a crack in the wall, a flower. In doing this I tried to bring that singular element alive and expose its natural beauty.

Vigas Antiguas Series Gallery
All of the material in this series was made from the front facing of a single building in Rodarte, New Mexico. This old and abandoned adobe had many layers of paint that converged around the vigas (central ceiling/roof beams). This interesting juxtoposition of paint colors alongside the vigas and the weathered cracks of the adobe were irresistable to me.

New Mexico Series Gallery
I have compiled ten images that exemplify New Mexico. From the snow driven landscape of the Taos Mountains, to a simple roadside sunflower, to a colorful old truck, these photographs come to the gallery from my heart and my love for the southwest.

Adobe Series Gallery
I've always been fascinated with the look and feel of adobe. The way light works with it and changes with it every minute of every day. Made primarily of mud and straw, adobe is of the earth. It resonates a positive earth energy and reminds me of the simplicity of living in such a dwelling.
